I tried to install and launch with the "snap method" (snap install leagueoflegends --edge --devmode) the game League of Legends. The first part is good : preparation of the environement works well, the installation as well but when the "Riot Client Main" opens, it stays black and a "Program Error" appears. i'm using wine8.5 staging. i'm using wine8.5 staging.
Not according to your log:
Wine build: wine-5.18 ( TkG Staging Esync Fsync Vkd3d )
As Joaopa, please retest in 8.x wine/wine-staging, not a third party wine build. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

From your log: MESA-INTEL: warning: Performance support disabled, consider sysctl dev.i915.perf_stream_paranoid=0
../src/intel/isl/isl.c:2105: FINISHME: ../src/intel/isl/isl.c:isl_surf_supports_ccs: CCS for 3D textures is disabled, but a workaround is available. sounds like a driver issue, does the sysctl workaround change anything? -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=54813 --- Comment #5 from totinous.31(a)hotmail.fr --- I'm sorry but how do I do that "Use plain vanilla wine or plain staged wine only" or that "retest in 8.x wine/wine-staging, not a third party wine build" ? I found that report Bug 52168 - League of Legends: RiotClientUxRender.exe crash and tried the solutions because the issue looks similar but it still doesn't work. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. This in itself is not really suitable for upstream bug reports, since we have no idea what else that script is doing. Anyway, bug 54800 is not a very good report to begin with, but I think it's pretty likely this is the same bug. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 54800 *** -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=54813 --- Comment #8 from Thomas <totinous.31(a)hotmail.fr> --- according to what you said, I purged wine from the device and installed again the "staging" from the site. I'm know sure of what version I do have. I tried to launch LoL again but the same issue appeared but with a different Program Error Details (however it still says that I have a Wine build : wine-5.18 (TkG Staging Esync Fsync Vkd3d)...which is wrong...) -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You're using a snap, which appears to come from https://github.com/mmtrt/leagueoflegends That snap appears to use a fork of wine-staging-5.x. They have an issue tracker; problems with that snap should be reported there: https://github.com/mmtrt/leagueoflegends/issues -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
