[Bug 42879] New: Shotcut 17.04 does not start with a OpenGL context for QSurfaceFormat error
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42879 Bug ID: 42879 Summary: Shotcut 17.04 does not start with a OpenGL context for QSurfaceFormat error Product: Wine Version: 2.6 Hardware: x86-64 URL: https://github.com/mltframework/shotcut/releases/downl oad/v17.04/shotcut-win32-170402.exe OS: Linux Status: NEW Keywords: download Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org Reporter: 00cpxxx(a)gmail.com Distribution: Debian Created attachment 58002 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=58002 standard output log File Info: 1b1d2bffb1d82ef61e5f479f1d9f5d7b04955b01 win32-170402.exe 72Mb Tested on both NVIDIA binary and Intel (MaxVersionGL 0x30002), log shows multiple d3d11 messages. Program message box (also dumped to console): Failed to create OpenGL context for format QSurfaceFormat(version 2.0, options QFlags(), depthBufferSize 24, redBufferSize -1, greenBufferSize -1, blueBufferSize -1, alphaBufferSize -1, stencilBufferSize 8, samples -1, swapBehavior 2, swapInterval 1, profile 0) . This is most likely caused by not having the necessary graphics drivers installed. Install a driver providing OpenGL 2.0 or higher, or, if this is not possible, make sure the ANGLE Open GL ES 2.0 emulation libraries (libEGL.dll, libGLESv2.dll and d3dcompiler_*.dll) are available in the application executable's directory or in a location listed in PATH. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. The ``Failed to create OpenGL context`` is not present for me. It now shows a black screen and lots of errors in the console about compiling shader. winetricks d3dcompiler_43 works around this, and the app starts fine. Could an administrator add component d3dcompiler to bugzilla? sha1sum shotcut-win32-170402.exe da39a3ee5e6b4b0d3255bfef95601890afd80709 shotcut-win32-170402.exe -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
