The following message is repeated over and over fixme:xrender:X11DRV_AlphaBlend not a dibsection In the beginning there is also a mention of an UpdateLayeredWindow stub. Moving the cursor to certain other areas of window changes the cursor to a hand, suggesting that things are there but are just being drawn. The window just displays what was previously on the screen before it was put on top, similar to the behaviour of a crashed X application.
