Unfortunately, recent-ish Chromium versions delegate (hardware) rendering to a separate process and rendering on a window created by a different process is not supported in Wine. So it's progress, in a sense, but we do get broken launchers for the time being... There are a few possible approaches to introduce that kind of support. Currently I'm trying to fix it in winex11 because I think that's the better option if workable.
