[Bug 14488] New: Bonjour Service with iTunes

Music could be imported from CD, played and it did not use much resources. Still, iTunes need to be restarted if you wanted to bring more than one CD because it did not notice that CD was changed. Coverflow was not working, it said that directX is not installed. But Apple Airport Express /Airtunes music streaming was working with no errors. After updating Wine to version 1.1.1 Airport Express is not found anymore and can't be used. I tried to install newer 7.7 version of iTunes but with the same results. It said at the first run that Bonjour Service is disabled and therefore Airport Express can't be used. I tried different versions of Wine and iTunes but I can't get Airport Express to work again. Is airport express a component of itunes?
Yes and no. Apple Airport Express is a separate wlan client for music streaming over wlan. Wine 1.1.0 + iTunes 7.6.2 = Bonjour/Airport Express works Wine 1.1.1 + iTunes 7.6.2 = Bonjour/Airport Express don't work Wine 1.1.5 + iTunes 7.6.2 = Bonjour/Airport Express don't work Wine 1.1.9 + iTunes 7.6.2 = Bonjour/Airport Express don't work Wine 1.1.0 + iTunes 7.7.0.43 = Bonjour/Airport Express don't work Wine 1.1.0 + iTunes 7.7.1.11 = Bonjour/Airport Express don't work Once installed 7.6.2 that works with Apple Airport Express, it can't be updated to anything. However I tried to install newest wine-1.1.10 and now IT WORKS!!! Airport Express works with wine 1.1.10 and iTunes 7.6.2. Thank you! No matter if it is in use or not. Reboot is required to make the connection again.
