Both Sacred Gold and Sacred Demo works in wine 1.1.43 and 1.1.43-249-g033bb8a. That log looks similar to bug 22347...
You could try to test the demo to be sure ;) But you and original reporter both use Intel graphics. Couldn't be that a driver bug?
Perhaps, but Stefan's second comment in bug 22374 makes me think it's more of a driver deficiency than a driver bug per se.
