The attached crash log and missing rstrtmgr.dll.RmShutdown implementation are two separate issues. As far as I remember, Git for Windows works fine with the Staging branch. @Qian: Do you still remember which bug it was?
I just retested Git-2.7.0-32-bit.exe, I can confirm Git for Windows works with Wine Staging 1.8 . I opened a ticket against it bug 42093. I was about to test those patches but I don't know how I can merge them. 1st patch of the series gives this error. patch: **** Only garbage was found in the patch input I tested this bug against wine-staging 2.0.rc3 and it indeed finishes.
