(There is a garbled cursor issue - I think this is due to our code in winex11.drv where we create xmax/ymax and make them not greater than 32.) There is useful info in all the other bugs, and this one sort of ties them together. That said, only having this one instead of both this and 5828 for the 1.0 milestone might be best. In any case, I really don't have strong feelings in any direction. I do not propose it as a solution to wine not having animated cursors, I know there are people working on this. I attach it so people can apply it specifically to get Perfect World to run. this patch doesn't work for 1.1.3 and 1.1.4
The patch files are ok for wine 1.0 ~ 1.1.3. I oppose closing this bug because it makes a lot of applications unable to use without a patch/workaround i.e. Knights of Honor. Instead of the first frame of the cursor you can't see any of the used .ani cursor.
That's why I suggest making a new bug.
