The same binary works on the same connection running on XP SP2/3. Help -> Run Diagnostics... Network Connectivity Tests iTunes Store conenctivity: Internet connection verified. Secure link to iTunes Store verified. All tests passed. It was accessing these: ax.phobos.apple.com.edgesuite.net:80/WebObjects/MZStore.woa... www.apple.com:80/ phobos.apple.com:80/ phobos.apple.com:443/ albert.apple.com:443/ But now it gave me following error message: Could not complete the iTunes Store request. The store may be busy. Check your Internet connection or try again later. On XP SP3 it contains TLS 1.0 record w/ 11 cipher suites while w/ Wine on F9 there's SSL 2.0 w/ 34 cipher specs. Server responds w/ TLS_RSA_WITH_RC4_128_MD5 in both cases. After some packets w/ Application Data there's Encrypted Alert sent by the client and https connection is closed by the server. iTunes shows this message: Could not complete the iTunes Store request. The store may be busy. However after 3 packets from server w/ encrypted data clients gives up, w/ same error message as previously.
