I seen that only version 5 of acrobat is working on wine. Currently I updated my suse linux from 11.0 to 11.1. On suse 11.1 I installed wine 1.1.14 and it crashed after displaying a splash screen, it krash also with 1.1.9. On previous version of suse 11.0 I used wine 0.9 and worked fine. I installed acrobat in a clean wine and with winetricks I installed mfc42 and vcrun2008. I'm running wine-1.4 I took the advice in Arseny Solokha's post above and renamed the DocBox.api file located at: ~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/Adobe/Acrobat 5.0/Acrobat/Plug_ins/InterTrust It loaded fine after this.
