When overriding the msxml3 library to "Builtin then native", Premiere will launch, however the user interface will be displayed incorrectly (UI elements in black will appear as white). -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. Just a quick check of something that should be obvious, but may not be.
'system32' means 'system32' only for 64bit apps and the lib needs to be in that exact path, due to how things are implemented (which makes sense on Windows, a bit less so with wine)
There is a msxml3.dll in the system32 of the Wine prefix I run Premiere in, and it's a 64-bit dll. $ file .wine/adobecs6/drive_c/windows/system32/msxml3.dll .wine/adobecs6/drive_c/windows/system32/msxml3.dll: PE32+ executable (DLL) (console) x86-64 (stripped to external PDB), for MS Windows, 11 sections -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You can grab a 64-bit msxml3r.dll from a Windows 7 system and it should work. Alternatively, builtin msxml3 might work fine now with the Adobe-focused patches in Wine Staging 11.1.
