The command to add the repository on Linux Mint (see Ubuntu Wiki entry) is:
sudo apt-add-repository 'deb https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu/ xenial
main'

But you instead typed typed this incorrect command:
sudo apt-add-repository 'deb https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu/xenial
main/'

There is a space missing between "ubuntu/" and "xenial". There also shouldn't
be a / after main. I am closing this bug as INVALID because this is clearly a
user error. Please reopen it if you encounter further problems with the correct
command.
