I guess you need to create a new prefix in an empty directory and then move your files back. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

Does it make sense for the directory to exist while creating a new prefix?
It depends on the usage. It is just important to decide if Wine wants to catch such cases. For example the directories could be removed afterwards by accident. In this case it would be useful if Wine creates the missing directories and the default symlinks. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

Accidental versus intentional removal is hard to determine. I don't think we want to support such configurations. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
