This is still the case as of the latest Wine (1.1.5). In an attempt to help resolve this issue, I'll also post any needed logs upon request.
I would also like to add this is better suited to be listed as a 'normal' bug rather than an 'enhancement'. Is this still an issue in current (1.1.19 or newer) wine?
Tested the original Melty Blood with wine-1.1.19-90-g781b087 from git.
