On Kubuntu 16.04 the main window of Freegate is not appearing. 1. Get Freegate 7.58 on dongtaiwang.com/loc/download.en.php 2. winetricks -q mfc42 3. run freegate (see attached terminal output) Summary: Kubuntu 14.04 with Wine 1.6.2 and Freegate 7.58 works. Kubuntu 16.04 with Wine 1.6.2 and Freegate 7.58 is not working. Kubuntu 16.04 with Wine 1.9.10 and Freegate 7.58 is not working. Note: I'm residing in China an have no full means to circumvent the Chinese Firewall. The commands winetricks droid winetricks wininet fail to load.
