[Bug 59341] New: dynamic link library error?
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59341 Bug ID: 59341 Summary: dynamic link library error? Product: Wine Version: 11.1 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: user32 Assignee: wine-bugs@list.winehq.org Reporter: mauvefeathers@gmail.com Distribution: --- Trying to run Clip Studio Paint 4.0 on Bottles, and I keep getting the error `The procedure entry point PackTouchHitTestingProximityEvaluation could not be located in the dynamic link library USER32.dll` from wine. I found this person who has the exact same issue as me, https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=56709 , but running `winetricks ie8` did nothing. The bug is marked as "fixed", but I have wine 11.1 and am still having these issues, and I can't figure out how to implement this code: https://gitlab.winehq.org/wine/wine/-/merge_requests/6794/diffs?commit_id=de... . More info: wine 11.1 , 64x prefix, Clip Studio Paint 1.5 If anyone can help me, thanks. I'll be posting it to Bottles too. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59341 Andrew Nguyen <arethusa26@gmail.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Resolution|--- |INVALID Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED --- Comment #2 from Andrew Nguyen <arethusa26@gmail.com> --- Bottles is not an official Wine tool, so issues with Bottles are not in scope for the Wine bug tracker. That said, I would guess that the reason you are running into the issue in bug 56709 that is already fixed in upstream Wine is presumably because Bottles is running your application with a custom Wine fork (which we do not support here) that does not include the fix. Bottles is probably also not using the Wine 11.1 installation in Arch you mentioned. Please refer to the support channels for Bottles as a more appropriate place to address your issues using this tool. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
