It crashes a start with out displaying any windows. If I did something wrong with the backtrace let me know as it is really short. winedbg FarCry.exe WineDbg starting on pid 002e 0x7ee42623: movl %edi,0x0(%esp) Wine-dbg>cont
If I enter cont it will run.

Yes, the kernel from bluewhite64 from before the game still starts fine.

Might be helpful to file a bug with gentoo then.
Gentoo doesn't support vanilla sources.
