[Bug 9027] No sound for rise of nations - all versions
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9027 --- Comment #27 from Ken Sharp <kennybobs(a)o2.co.uk> 2009-04-12 16:29:10 --- Created an attachment (id=20405) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=20405) Wine 1.1.18 +dsound +dmusic +dmime +dmloader trace:dmloader:IDirectMusicLoaderFileStream_Attach (0x2b914d8, L"C:\\windows\\system32\\drivers\\gm.dls", 0x24beed8) gm.dls does not exist, and that message is followed by trace:dmloader:IDirectMusicLoaderFileStream_Detach (0x2b914d8) warn:dmloader:IDirectMusicLoaderFileStream_Attach : failed err:dmloader:IDirectMusicLoaderImpl_IDirectMusicLoader_SetObject : could not attach stream to file "Windows 98 includes a high-quality software-based synthesizer that opens a large file of instrument sounds (Gm.dls)." http://support.microsoft.com/kb/191080 But does that only explain the music and not the other sounds? There are a few warns about buffers in the log. Would another trace be more forthcoming? Tried changing the sound acceleration to various values but nothing helped. Tried setting to Win98 but that causes a strange debugger error. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
