[Bug 4139] Regression in Wine (x11drv/dib.c) on FreeBSD

When I run the "World of Warcraft" installer, it freezes and produces the
following repeated error (with WINEDEBUG=+all):

It seems related to this problem, and I have a workaround that will be attached
after.

My system is FreeBSD 6.2-RELEASE.
