When running the full version, the game crashes showing the "Skate3.exe has encountered a serious problem" dialog. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=56649 --- Comment #4 from japareaggae(a)gmail.com --- First, I installed the game on a fresh prefix: $ export WINEPREFIX=$HOME/Games/THPS3Demo/prefix/ $ wine ~/Downloads/Thps3Demo.exe Then I ran the game with the following commands: $ export WINEPREFIX=$HOME/Games/THPS3Demo/prefix/ $ wine prefix/drive_c/Program\ Files\ \(x86\)/Activision/Thps3Demo/Skate3.exe Then I clicked on the "Play Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 Demo" button on the Setup window, and a black window briefly appeared then disappeared. I was not expecting that the program would be picky about its current working directory, all of the other apps I run via Wine work fine with that setup I posted. Is it recommended to always make sure that the current working directory is the one with the binary? I will make sure to pay more attention to that in the future.
