http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17951 --- Comment #2 from kaare Baastrup <hardkaare(a)gmail.com> 2009-04-05 16:22:33 --- the problem was tested with two Linux (one kubuntu and one ubuntu) machines and one windows machine. Both Linux machines were unable to join any of the hosted maps with version 1.18 of wine and both were able to join the windows hosted game with version 1.01. Since Linux don't use firewall and the windows firewall didn't prevent Linux machines from joining the the problems are properly not firewall related... This leaves two bugs: 1. You cant create a functional WC3 TFT v1.23a LAN game with wine v 1.18 og 1.01 2. the ability to join a WC3 TFT v1.23a LAN game has been lost between version 1.01 and 1.18 -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17951 --- Comment #3 from Nicky <nheart(a)gmail.com> 2009-04-07 00:48:04 --- Your version of wine (1.01) probably had acceptEx patch compiled into it. LAN hosting doesn't work without AcceptEx (unless you're using version 0.9.45 or earlier). So compile your 1.1.18 with AcceptEx patch and see the difference. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17951 --- Comment #4 from kaare Baastrup <hardkaare(a)gmail.com> 2009-04-07 06:29:03 --- Hey Nicky. Thx for your anwser, the binary wine v1.18 was installed using the repo from wine's downloade site. Is there any reason not to include the patch "AcceptEx" on that binary? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17951 --- Comment #7 from Nicky <nheart(a)gmail.com> 2009-04-08 14:27:48 --- Ye, cause AcceptEx is not accepted by Allexandre in the main git (Read bug 9787 discussion) That's why the binary you got doesn't have AcceptEx included. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
