Wine: 0.9.31 (missing in bug version-list)

If I have 7 or more icons in my systray (hidden or not, KDE-3.5.5) any attempt 
to launch a windows executable with wine results in the following errors:

Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: Maximum number of clients reached
x11drv: Can't open display: :0.0
Please ensure that your X server is running and that $DISPLAY is set 
correctly.
