It's as if the game doesn't properly hide the X11 cursor. The type of cursor shown in-game is dependent on what cursor was used when the game was launched and at what position it was at. When playing Dungeon Keeper 2, I have the X11 cursor sitting at the same position all the time (can't be moved or anything) in the game. It's as if the game doesn't properly hide the X11 cursor. The type of cursor shown in-game is dependent on what cursor was used when the game was launched and at what position it was at. In my case it's the caret because I was in console.
Attached a picture of the problem.
EDIT: the problem occurs with MouseWarpOverride set to "disable" since this is required to be able to control the cursor in-game. I had to use Win98 compatibility mode else the demo wouldn't run. Moreover, the MouseWarpOverride=disable registry hack is no longer needed with 1.3.18.
