I just tried on Kubuntu 7.10 with Wine 0.9.57 (WineHQ binary) and Mono for
Windows 1.9_4, and got:

The missing gdiplus function is bug 10982. I've added that as a dependency of
this bug.

(I won't merge there until we know what the next bug is!)
