With wine-9.5 and mfc42 installed from winetricks, I could successfully complete installation and run the simulator. I can confirm that the emulated calculators (TI-83 Plus, TI-83 Plus Silver Edition, and TI-73) appear to render correctly in the simulator without any transparency problem, so I think this bug can be resolved as fixed. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
