The machine is a server and has no GUI started. However when running the application like this: WINEDEBUG=-all wine Myapp.exe I still get the message "Application tried to create a window, but no driver could be loaded. Make sure that your X server is running and that $DISPLAY is set correctly." in the console although all debug output should be suppressed by the WINEDEBUG variable. The application runs just fine, btw, but I am using wine in a bash script and this message is annoying.
