But now, from wine 1.1 onwards, it causes major problems on my laptop with Intel GMA 4500MHD onboard graphics. My win32 programs are unusable because text that should have a slightly highlighted background becomes black, and many controls also turn black. Here is a screenshot of wineconf with a clean .wine directory: http://img196.imageshack.us/img196/4959/snapshot7o.png This is a mild example here, other programs are impossible to use due to black controls and text, it makes it so I can't see labels on the buttons nor highlighted search text. I have confirmed the same behavior on openSUSE 11.3 and Ubuntu 10.10. Wine 0.9.37 on openSUSE 11.3 does not present this problem. Yes, commit c29cf0591976f96c3adb30c3c3b6db59f4983251 introduced the bug, but it's an intel bug.
