[Bug 10757] New: Dragon Naturally Speaking 9 can't control mic volume
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10757 Summary: Dragon Naturally Speaking 9 can't control mic volume Product: Wine Version: CVS/GIT Platform: Other URL: http://nuance.com OS/Version: other Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: wine-multimedia AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: dank(a)kegel.com On one of my systems, DNS 9 pops up a warning during initial user training, complaining that it can't automatically set the mic volume. Indeed, you have to do it manually (via right clicking on the volume control icon on the system toolbar) on that system. Susan confirms this happens for her, too. This is with the default ALSA settings. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

I was surprised to find that, even in Hardy Heron, with all the PulseAudio problems they've been having, that it works so well. I think this bug should be closed out. Sadly, Hardy Heron has other sound problems, and my level of accuracy, according to DNS's scale, has slipped from 29 to 21, a huge decrease. However, this does not prevent the program from performing adequately for my needs. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
