[Bug 12120] New: iSBEM 3.0 doesn't show EULA on startup
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12120 Summary: iSBEM 3.0 doesn't show EULA on startup Product: Wine Version: CVS/GIT Platform: Other URL: http://www.ncm.bre.co.uk OS/Version: other Status: NEW Keywords: download Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: ole AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: dank(a)kegel.com To install: wget http://kegel.com/wine/winetricks sh winetricks art2kmin wget http://www.ncm.bre.co.uk/files/iSBEM_v3.0.b.exe wine iSBEM_v3.0.b.exe cd .wine/drive_c/NCM/iSBEM_v3.0.b wine start iSBEM_v3.0.b.mdb According to the user guide http://www.ncm.bre.co.uk/files/iSBEM-User_Guide_12Feb08.pdf a license agreement dialog should appear on startup, but it doesn't. Doing 'winetricks dcom98' gets it to start up, so this must be a COM/OLE problem, but that's not a usable workaround, as you can't dismiss the EULA dialog then for some reason. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12120 Dan Kegel <dank(a)kegel.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Component|ole |-unknown --- Comment #1 from Dan Kegel <dank(a)kegel.com> 2008-03-19 21:21:36 --- iSBEM 1.0 has the same problem. What you see on startup after accepting the Access license validation dialog (which seems to be filled in for you) is a blank dialog titled "iSBEM non domestic bindings", and the fixmes fixme:typelib2:ICreateTypeInfo2_fnAddRefTypeInfo (0x7bc60d8,0x7b05648,0x34d4bc), pTInfo from different typelib. fixme:typelib2:ICreateTypeInfo2_fnSetCustData (0x7bc6300,{ba65d790-9301-11cf-8d22-00aa00375384},0x34d49c), stub! Clicking 'OK' just repeats those fixmes and the dialog. Killing and restarting gets you a dialog with the same title that says "The visual basic for applications project in the database is corrupt." This also occurs if you have native dcom98. So it seems dcom98 only got rid of that first blank dialog... -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
