Attempting to install the Rand-McNally TND Dock via Wine 1.4 and setup requires connection to GPS device via USB. Have GPS connected and run the TNDSetup program from the GPS memory card and the installer will not connect to it from Wine. Backtrace attached. When do you foresee Wine supporting USB devices directly? Can't tell. No one is actively working on it.
Is there a work-around in the meantime? There are some 3rd party experimental patches that might or might not work for you: http://wiki.winehq.org/USB
