Start the game, login, choose character. From here, when I click the character and enter the world, it looks good for about 2-4 seconds. Then it stays hangs. I can move the mouse, but the ship stays exactly where it was, and no rendering changes. I've already tried a clean install, as well as a different character. Two ways to do so: A) rm / mv $PROGRAMFILES/CCP/Eve/res/audio/Jukebox B) disable winemp3.acm in winecfg/WINEDLLOVERRIDES you obviously lose ingame mp3 support, but the game then doesn't hang. According to some AppDB reports, the game starts and continues with the normal music, then about 3 seconds or so in transitions to the first track in the jukebox, which is about when it hangs... Those same mp3's play fine in, e.g., foobar2000 under Wine.
