With Ubuntu I've had no problems running LFS via Wine (the latest versions). However when running it in Debian Etch, LFS freezes as soon as I click the "Agree" button in the Agreement screen (the screen just after selecting the driver name). At this point I am forced to alt-tab back to the terminal and close LFS from there. The only thing that looks out of the ordinary is a fixme message repeated more than a dozen times when the Agree button is clicked (the message does not appear before that action): fixme:d3d:unloadNumberedArrays >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> GL_INVALID_ENUM (0x500) from glDisableVertexAttribArrayARB(rgb) @ state.c / 2913 Note that this fixme did NOT occur when running LFS under Ubuntu 7.10 with Wine 0.9.55. The latest Wine version available for Debian Etch is 0.9.55.
