You may just have to specify how much VRAM you have. Texture quality on low. Video: geforce 8400 GT 512 Mb RAM.
I think it's may be wrong wine video settings but dont know where i can change it.

Setting graphics memory size does help a little but not if you give the character creator a bit of an extra workout by changing factions, gender, bloodlines and the likes. I hadn't really noticed Eve misbehaving like this in the past but I can't say for sure either since I'd usually just gone straight through the steps with very little changing mind. Therefore not much chance of a crash. There is no additional libs/overrides beyond adding fonts and Eve's own install of DX9. Antialiasing not available. GPU is a Geforce 8800GT. CPU is Athlon64X2 @ 3400MHz. RAM is 4GB (3GB). OS is 32bit Ubuntu (Gnome) 10.04. Wine 1.3.15. Eve build 237081. Character creator is working okay these days. I've got no idea what was really going on back then.
