I wonder if it's possible to make HWiNFO/HWiNFO64 work under Wine.

The rationale is that it supports various hardware sensors a lot better than
Linux and of course it loads a Windows driver to enable sensors polling.

If it's not feasible/doable, this bug report may be safely closed.

Hello Artem,

please describe *one* specific issue. Meta-bugs "make app x to work with Wine"
are not useful and discouraged for various reasons. Alternatively resolve this
as dupe of one existing bug if you found an already tracked issue this
app/driver depends on.

One specific issue is to allow the user to run (in Wine) Windows kernel drivers
which poll various computer subsystems and RAM regions directly.

Probably there are dozens similar bugs, so you're right, let's close this one.
