The problem is that EA Download Manager which is shipped with The Sims 3 shows blank window when trying to open e.g. Settings. This manager is in tray and i click right mouse button on it in and choose Settings. We are getting errors and problems when it attempts to do this - although it could be revolved around that, we would need to prove. I'm guessing this needs more inspection to tell if it's a Wine problem or a Programing Problem. (In reply to comment #7)
I've never personally played this game, but my sister says that this problem occurs in windows as well. She says that this is resolved by going to the official site and downloading the updated client.

Haven't tested this again but since EADM is obsolete (because it was succeeded by EA Origin to which it updates in Windows) can somebody who is able to close this bug?
