Where did you get your Wine package from?
I'm using latest Wine from "http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-wine/ppa/ubuntu karmic main" repository.
Is there any reason that you are using native comactl32?
There is no special reason. Starts fine for me with current wine by the way, Louis please attach +msxml,+tid when it fails for you. To get resources loaded, menu strings etc. you need to set locale to russian like LANG=ru_RU.UTF-8. Hi Nicolai, that's weird, i reinstalled in a new fresh ~/.wine , and it doesn't crash for me as well. Don't know why it crashes when i tried it the first time.
