Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: critical Priority: P1 Component: wine-binary AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: amrhi(a)safe-mail.net After many successful previous Wine upgrades, I upgraded from Version 0.9.42 to the new Version 0.9.43, only to discover that NONE of my old Windows 3.1 games will start up -- NONE of them. I NEVER had that problem with any earlier version. I then uninstalled and re-installed with a different (but still compatible) .rpm release -- no difference whatsoever. And yes, ALL of my 32-bit programs worked just fine. As a result, I UNINSTALLED Version 0.9.43 and re-installed Version 0.9.42 (I simply cannot adequately replace those great old Windows 3.1 games). So PLEASE fix this -- DON'T be like some developers lately who just don't seem to care at all about any of the older stuff. Thank you. P.S. In addition, "winecfg" was nothing but a 0-bit empty file -- it wouldn't even run.
