[Bug 59374] New: Codename Panzers Phase 1 and 2: fail to start with EGL
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59374 Bug ID: 59374 Summary: Codename Panzers Phase 1 and 2: fail to start with EGL Product: Wine Version: 11.0-rc1 Hardware: x86-64 URL: https://store.steampowered.com/app/411310/Codename_Pan zers_Phase_One/ OS: Linux Status: NEW Keywords: regression Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: d3d Assignee: wine-bugs@list.winehq.org Reporter: gyebro69@gmail.com CC: rbernon@codeweavers.com Regression SHA1: 6048ac5dfebd7090672ec1c26e6e15dfd51d5a8d Distribution: ArchLinux Created attachment 80324 --> http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=80324 terminal output Codename: Panzers Phase 1 crashes on startup. Phase 2, on the other hand, simply closes to desktop without a backtrace. Both the GOG and Steam versions of the games are affected. Switching back to the GLX backend resolves the crash. The problem is present since commit 6048ac5dfebd7090672ec1c26e6e15dfd51d5a8d when using EGL. I can't revert the patch cleanly on Wine-11.x because compilation fails, but I tested with the previous commit, and the games start properly with 6048ac5d^. Still present in wine-11.1-160-gc51911ee8b8 Tested with Nvidia binary drivers 580.126.09. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. It’s just that I skipped yesterday's commit round and tested the game with an earlier revision because of a different regression that made the game unable to launch. Sorry about the noise! This was fixed by https://gitlab.winehq.org/wine/wine/-/commit/98a441ddf9d857ae21e4383eaee628d... -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
