[Bug 39616] New: Guild Wars: Black screen after loading zone
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=39616 Bug ID: 39616 Summary: Guild Wars: Black screen after loading zone Product: Wine Version: 1.7.55 Hardware: x86 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org Reporter: wine-bugs(a)sanxion.net Distribution: --- Hi there, With WINE 1.7.54 and 1.7.55, Guild Wars displays a black screen after loading a zone (the Guild Wars-styled mouse cursor is still visible). When logging in to the game, the login screen works and the character select screen also works. The black screen only occurs after the loading of a game zone. Alt-tabbing out to the desktop (using Openbox here, no desktop render acceleration is in use) and then back in to the game restores the display. Regardless of any .wine configuration etc, downgrading to 1.7.53 leads to the game not exhibiting this behaviour and loading a zone works as expected.
