Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: d-kyle1(a)shaw.ca i am having the same problem running total annihilation as with the last version of wine (0.9.55). the game runs and i can hear sound in the background but the screen is black! i can randomly hit buttons and hear sound but i get a black screen. In wine-0.9.47 this game works ok except for the aircraft pausing in mid flight sometimes (and getting shot down for it!). Any extra mods installed? What video card/driver are you using? Are you sure this is not because you updated other software on your system? Once I upgraded TA to 3.1, it worked great in Wine 0.9.56. Install went fine, the version on the CDs is 1.1. Played a skirmish map no problem, updated to 1.3, played another skirmish map and still no problem. My guess is that this is either driver or hardware related since he has an 8600gt. My attachment is much the same as spoonies' is. Some sort of "GL_INVALID_OPERATION". Yes it would be very nice to have a regression test for this. It also was producing GL_INVALID_OPERATION. As far as I can tell, 0.9.59 didn't yet have that patch.
