I am running WINE version wine-1.1.8-44-g90ff829. It did pop up with messages about missing files (the console messages are generated by the game itself, not WINE), but finally it uses these files and runs properly. I can attach some screenshots if you want. BTW. The game is great:) -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

Turn off visual effects and see if that fixes it. Then try upgrading wine and see if that fixes it. [if you can report back so we know whether to keep the bug open or not] @Jeff/Tom - the file names it is complaining about missing do not really seem to match what are in those folders. For example "Could not open sound file: res/sounds/nuke_cover_close.en.ogg" the file in the folder is "res/sounds/nuke_cover_close.ogg" So I don't think these messages are valid (at least as far as the problem you are experiencing) ----------------- I'm also running Intrepid, using the Intel driver, and the game runs fine. I'm using Wine 1.1.12 though. I did find I had to turn off compositing system - preferences - visual effects - none But that was because I was getting the Gnome panel over top of the game and drawing issues. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
