Note that these functions are undocumented. Since you are trying to run native Internet Explorer you might as well use native wininet, which is part of Internet Explorer.
Dear Hans, I would if I could open https connections with native wininet. I can't get this to work when using native wininet although it seems to work when using built in wininet.
