Before, it would just fail to play them and skip them. The issue is present for you since Wine-1.3.5, isn't it? Performing the regression test would be useful (I don't own the game). Actually, I can reproduce the crash with the reported version (1.3.5) and the backtrace I got is similar to the one attached in comment #0. However, that problem went away a long time ago (1.3.10 is already good for me). Please try the game again with a recent Wine version (1.3.31 or newer) and report back what you find. Also make sure that gstreamer and the necessary plugins are installed.
