http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=21030 --- Comment #1 from Jeff Zaroyko <jeffz(a)jeffz.name> 2009-12-16 03:31:44 --- That means it doesn't exist. You're accessing an app that was removed. Looking at the history it had no test data associated so it was removed. Submit a new entry and test data. If there is a bug at all, it is that deleted apps don't return 404 not found. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

If there is a bug at all, it is that deleted apps don't return 404 not found.
Well, "cmd.exe" query returns different message [1], FWIW: This entry has been deleted (class: application, id: 1196) Its content may have been moved to another entry [1] http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=1196 -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

I've entered data for OE in the AppDB, but the link still can be found via Google and still gives the same error message.
That's because it's deleted but AppDB returns the wrong HTTP status code, letting google think it's still there. Resubmit the application if you want an entry for it. I would say a patch is required to return 404 for deleted applications. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

it's deleted but AppDB returns the wrong HTTP status code, letting google think it's still there.
So the report probably needs to be renamed to reflect this, right?
I would say a patch is required to return 404 for deleted applications.
Cool. Should we assign this bug to a particular person?
The one you submitted works fine.
Yeah, but it cannot be found via search engine yet. The AppDB search engine works fine. You won't find it in Google, Google isn't instant. Give it time to run a new crawl.
