It is unclear if install was done on existing .NET 2.0 WINEPREFIX (required prerequisite). All .NET installer bugs using 'manual' install methods are known. Hence this bug is either invalid (missing prerequisite steps) or dupe of one of the existing .NET bugs. In general: use winetricks for installing .NET Frameworks.
