Picture of the described DropDownFIeld

When you activate the Layermode-Dropdownfield in the "Layers"-Palette you can
change the displaytext in the DropDownField with the arrow-up and -down keys
but the layermode won't get executed.

If you click in the DropDownField however and select it with the Mouse it
changes the displaymode normally.

This problem was reported in the bug 12070 but has been fixed in 0.9.59.
Are you sure that you are using Wine 0.9.60?
