I noticed that Wine changed to version 9.20. The version I had previously installed was Wine 9.0 which worked well. I hope you can check and resolve the issue in the next version. Hello, When I updated my Ubuntu, then HeidiSql stopped opening. I noticed that Wine changed to version 9.20.
Please attach the terminal output.
The version I had previously installed was Wine 9.0 which worked well.

The regression first got introduced in wine-9.19, bisected to be a dupe of bug 57306. I installed Heidisql version 12.8.0, but the problem remains. In my case, when I press "NEW", no message with errors appears, the application simply does not open.
