The installer opens a message box with the title "Feature transfer error" and the message "Error: -1627 Function failed." The message shown on the main window is "Updating component registration" Lines in the log after the line "err:ole:ClientRpcChannelBuffer...3a" (line 35) after OK was clicked. Same here with wine-git 07197a19f2843 (1.5.22+) on Linux 3.7.4.
