[Bug 17451] New: Some backgrounds render very slowly in PowerPoint 2003
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17451 Summary: Some backgrounds render very slowly in PowerPoint 2003 Product: Wine Version: unspecified Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: fgouget(a)codeweavers.com Some backgrounds render very slowly in PowerPoint 2003 when in edition mode. The attached slideshow contains four such backgrounds. What is strange is that the same slides display fast during the actual slideshow. Also, the same slides show no speed issue in PowerPoint 2000. So it must be the way PowerPoint 2003 renders them that's causing trouble. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

Also, it looks very similar to a bug that I just reported about geometric shapes rendering slowly. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17451 -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17451 --- Comment #5 from Simon Waid <simon_waid(a)gmx.net> 2009-12-13 09:52:15 --- Created an attachment (id=25191) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=25191) Test-image Hi! I have the same problem, but not only with certain templates. If you insert an eps-image into a Presentation, PowerPoint 2003 gets unusably slow. You may want to insert the attached file and try it yourself! So I think this bug, too, is invalid. I also found that in 1.5.0 the slide backgrounds don't render properly in edit mode; I'll file a bug for that later. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
