[Bug 48459] New: origin update screen does not load properly.
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=48459 Bug ID: 48459 Summary: origin update screen does not load properly. Product: Wine Version: 5.0-rc3 Hardware: x86 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org Reporter: jaap.aarts1(a)gmail.com Distribution: --- The update screen (where you have to select between close, update, or go offline) shows a white screen on wine 5.0 RC3, I don't have RC1, 2 or 4.21 handy on my system right now but it works with wine 4.20.1. I cant check anymore since I already updated to the latest version. The update process still doesn't work (at least most of the time) so I had to use https://github.com/DrDoctor13/wine-origin-updater, but at least in 4.20 the window shows useful information and I can take action. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=48459 --- Comment #1 from jaap.aarts1(a)gmail.com <jaap.aarts1(a)gmail.com> --- since Wine 5.0-rc2 origin always starts in offline mode and I am unable to play any game(verified rc1 works for me), this is possibly related to this. should I open another bug? I think they would be duplicates. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

R. Dierick <o.dierick(a)piezo-forte.be> --- Hello, Duplicate of 48357. The white screen is a symptom of a pending update + broken connection. I confirm I have a white screen in origin with wine-5.0-rc4. Updating to wine-5.0-rc5 fixed the issue for me. Please, update to wine-5.0-rc5. Regards. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 48357 *** -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
